The Look for Less: Blake Lively's Style for Under $100

Blake Lively is pretty in pink in this neon number. She strays from Molly Ringwald’s lace and frills, though, with a strapless, form-fitting, shape that flawlessly flatters her figure.  Her look is polished off with a pair of nude pumps and an eclectic mix of jewelry.  Although its bold color will make you smile, her dress’s price tag will not. So, here’s a poor couture alternative to turn your frown upside-down, enjoy!
Dress - $40.13, French Connection, frenchconnection.com
Shoes - $34.20, Cocoeve, yesstyle.com

Amanda Seyfried shed her good-girl look and stunned in a studded black blazer. She paired the focus piece with a basic, black tank, a pair of sleek, black shorts, and peep-toe, patent leather, black pumps. The blazer’s bedazzlement outshines the rest of the outfit’s simplicity, but it’s the price that will truly make your jaw drop. So, I’ve found a poor couture alternative, enjoy!

Top - $2.50, Forever 21, forever21.com

Who knew edgy leather pieces and feminine floral prints were such a match made in heaven? Apparently, Cameron Diaz did when she paired this floral printed, belted mini-dress with open-toed, leather booties. The outfit’s balance of soft and pretty with hard and chic is to-die-for… but it’s the price that will actually kill you. So, here’s your poor couture alternative, enjoy!

The Look for Less: Maggie Grace's Style for Under $175

Maggie Grace’s satin trousers and crisp, white blazer flatter her body with clean-cut lines that work to create a timeless shape. Her lace top, which reveals a simple black bra, effortlessly shifts her outfit from classic to edgy. Style this flawless comes with a steep price tag, though (her MaxMara blazer costs $620!). Her outfit’s prim perfection is complimented by a thin, diamond bracelet and a black, waist sash. Saldana is as ravishing as royalty in this ensemble. Her Neil Lane diamonds are certainly fit for a princess— with the price to match! So, I’ve found a poor couture alternative for the penny-saving princess, instead, enjoy!

Nicole Richie dazzled in a trendy take on a classic look. She dressed up a simple, black, jersey dress with a sequin jacket, and completed the ensemble with a pair of suede, black, ankle boots. The Look for Less: Kate Bosworth's Style for Under $100

Tie-dye clothing has lived many lives throughout fashion history. In the 1960’s, peace-loving flower children brought it to life. In the 1990’s, it was revived with a rush of girl power and boy bands. Although some may have expected tie-dye to enter into retirement with the new millennium, it proved its longevity by never straying far from the world of fashion. In 2010, it can be seen, once again, as a top trend. Kate Bosworth expertly dons this fashion old-timer with leather sandals, a white cuff bracelet, and a pair of classic aviators. By pairing her dress with the sandals and cuff, Bosworth gives tie-dye a modern edge, but with her addition of the aviators, she reminds us all of its vintage past. Although tie-dye has been worn by the masses, Bosworth’s tie-dye dress has a price tag that few could afford. So, here’s a poor couture alternative for the rest of us, enjoy!
Dress - $35, ASOS, asos.com
Sunglasses - $15, BKE, buckle.com
Shoes - $36, MIA, endless.com
